More Choices, Lower Cost, No Tax Hikes and Why Government Medicine is a Bad Idea
America is having a national healthcare debate, but ABC News decided to ignore the debate and instead promote President Obama’s plan for a government takeover of health care in America. On June 24th ABC broadcast what was essentially an ObamaCare infomercial from the White House during primetime, where the President was allowed to share his vision for health care in America without a single expert presenting an opposing view.
To counter the biased coverage of this critical issue, the Media Research Center and Americans for Tax Reform co-hosted a panel discussion to provide the media an opportunity to inject balance into the health care debate. Key elected officials and health care policy experts gathered in Washington to address the disadvantages and dangers of President Obama’s health care plan.
