As Bernard Goldberg’s Bombshell Explodes …

WILL THE MEDIA TREAT THEIR OWN WHISTLEBLOWER WITH THE SAME RESPECT AS THEY TREAT OTHERS?

Bozell: “Bernard Goldberg’s Credibility Is Outstanding And The Networks Should All Do Stories Investigating His Claims”

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Media Research Center President Brent Bozell defended former CBS News correspondent Bernard Goldberg as news broke of Goldberg’s new bombshell book that exposes the bias at CBS News and the networks in general.

“Bernard Goldberg is the media’s whistleblower, just like whistleblowers at government agencies who provide fuel and fodder for many network news stories. But already the nasty response from network news executives and reporters shows the long knives are out,” Bozell said.

“The media are the only institution that won’t accept criticism, even while they criticize everyone else. Bernard Goldberg’s credibility is outstanding and the networks should all do stories investigating his claims,” he continued.

“If a 28-year veteran of the Defense Department had blown the whistle on that agency, it would lead every network newscast tonight and be featured on CBS’s own 60 Minutes this Sunday. We’ll see if the media treat their own whistleblower with the same respect,” Bozell said.

CBS News staffers lash out at Goldberg
