Part Of $2.8 Million Campaign …

MRC Billboard Goes up in Boston on Road
to Democratic Convention

Uncle Sam Warns Media To "Tell The Truth!" And Urges Public:
"Don't Believe The Liberal Media"

ALEXANDRIA, Va. --- As part of the Media Research Center's "Tell The Truth!" 2004 campaign, MRC President Brent Bozell announced today the placing of the first billboard in Boston on Interstate 93 heading toward the Fleet Center, where the Democratic National Convention will be held next week. The billboard, 14 feet by 48 feet, pictures Uncle Sam beneath the words "Tell The Truth!" and adjacent to him are the words "Don't Believe The Liberal Media" with the MRC logo above.

"We want the world to know we are holding the media accountable in this most pivotal of times. Liberal bias has run out of control in the establishment media with regard to the war on terrorism, the war in Iraq, the growth we've seen in the economy and on a whole range of other domestic issues," Bozell said.

More billboards will go up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area the first week in August. The billboards are just one aspect of a $2.8 million campaign the Media Research Center has launched from now until the end of the year to ensure balanced coverage and hold the media accountable for liberal bias.
